Located at a busy junction near the CBD of Ho Chi Minh city, Sushi Hokkaido Sachi Restaurant brings a peaceful traditional Japanese house design amidst the bustling vibe of the area. With vertical wood louvers and big sized illuminated red fish on the façade design, the restaurant pops up at the junction corner, attracting customers passing by; while the iconic wooden gate welcomes the guests warmly.
As one of the first Japanese restaurant brands in Vietnam, Sushi Hokkaido Sachi makes its mark by creating restaurants resembling traditional houses from the land of rising sun, for eating at home is most comfortable. However not every restaurant of the brand is the same, each one has a different characteristic trait of Japanese culture.
One restaurant, for example, resembling dining at home while watching cherry blossom falling outside; while Sushi Hokkaido Sachi restaurant on Nguyen Dinh Chieu street is resembling dining at home with a beautiful view to the zen garden outside. The bar area at the ground floor is combined with open kitchen, where chefs showcase their preparation of sashimi: from catching the swimming fish in the tank, to prepare them right in front of the guests, showing the freshness and quality of the restaurant’s sashimi as well as the chefs’ skillfully cuts.
The dining space offers a variety of seating suitable for every occasion. Decorative indoor landscape is integrated into the space, laced between tables and create divisions without walls. Private tatami rooms, inspired by Minka with its traditional shoji sliding door and wooden roof, offers an exclusive space for groups; while allow the guests to choose whether to close the curtains for privacy or open for the landscape view.
