Köhler Architekten skilfully integrated a new constructing inside of he historic district of Ottensen, in Hamburg, Germany. The classical façade structures of workmen&#8217s and bourgeois houses in the district have been reinterpreted and the new resulting surface was covered with the modern HI-MACS® material, developed to inspire a modern search. Architect Florian Köhler says that passers-by typically stop to allow the façade of the new 3-storey building (entitled &#8220Ice Loft&#8221) work its magic on them.
