Beyond Sushi is the 100% plant-based vegan sushi eatery that celebrates locally-sourced, seasonal produce. Pioneered by Chef Guy Vaknin, the companyai??i??s mission is to promote a sustainable, all-natural, and compassionate menu. Beyond Sushi strives to popularize a modern approach to traditional sushi by crafting dishes that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate.
Beyond Sushi offers an assortment of distinctive sushi rolls and other nutritional staples and has five outposts in Manhattan. Chef Guy and his culinary team fuse unconventional pairings of fruit and vegetables with whole grains to create wide-ranging vegan dishes including dumplings, noodle salads, and noodle soups with catchy names such as ai???Smokey Tom,ai??? ai???Chic Pea,ai??? and ai???Jolly Onion.ai???
In addition, the brand has reinvented its signature sushi rolls, rice bed salads, and paper wraps to intrigue the masses. Atal Design Group designed all 5 locations of Beyond Sushi and developed the brandai??i??s visual elements from logo and menu design to store displays culminating in the flagship 37th Street restaurant.
The visuals clearly communicate the modern, clean and somewhat ai???funkyai??? style of the food and brand. A 2,700 square foot restaurant located in Midtown Manhattan on 132 West 37th Street. This flagship location extends Beyond Sushiai??i??s growing chain from the quick ai???grab & goai??? to a dine-in restaurant with both lunch and dinner menus and live entertainment.
As such, Our design reflects the different vibe by incorporating different elements yet staying true to Beyond Sushiai??i??s primary focus of healthy eating and living. A 500% increase in size over the prior locations, this flagship started with a 2,700 square sq. ft. white box with 16ai??i?? ceilings instead of the previous 250-600 square foot the previous grab & go locations.
